52 years old was an adventure. The first day was picture perfect. One flight - we paddled the Sheridan glacier with icebergs, hiked, biked, and had a campfire!!! Fresh salmon caught by Dan, quinoa salad, roast potatoes, and smores🔥 The next day was more. Class 4 fun which we survived. Laundromat, whale tail coffee shop, picked salmon and nagoon berries, hiked to a ski cabin, reluctant fishermen games, and a birthday warm cookie with ice cream. The last day, bike ride and berries, museum, and voting. But the storm was so bad - 7 inches of rain in 24 hours plus wind - we have an inch and 1/2 tear in your tent. And some stakes that the wind bent. It was crazy. Crystal and I ended up sleeping in the bathroom at the campground - Kait and Melissa in the rental car back seat. Cancelled flights on Monday (birthday) made my one-hour home into 24 hours of flights to see Hannah. Including missing the overnight flight. Stayed in Seattle but couldn't get in because of a te...
